IMPLEMENTATION AND MAINTENANCE

The Hot Springs Conservation District has made a diligent effort to use the grants that are available for the benefit of the Hot Springs County land improvements.  The development of the applications, associated documentation and reporting on finished projects provides a valuable community service.

In order to expend the life of these projects, maintenance must be undertaken to extend their life.  The NRCS and BLM have developed a number of practices that will extend the life of these improvements.  The Conservation District is in the role of encouraging the landowner to apply these maintenance practices by showing the benefits that maintenance will provide to their operation.
